Sharath virechana camp- 2021 was inaugurated by Chairman of Alvas Education Foundation Dr. M. Mohan Alva on 7th October 2021.
Principal Dr. Sajith M, Medical Superintendent Dr. Manjunath Bhat, Assistant Medical Superintendent Dr. Vikram Kumar, HOD of Panchakarma Dr. Praveen B.S, MD of Alvas Niramaya Dr. Surekha Pai, Research Dean Dr. Subramanya Padyana, PG dean Dr. Raviprasad Hegde and all other staff and students of Alvas Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital Moodbidri were present during the inauguration.
The camp has been organized by the department of Panchakarma at Alvas Ayurveda Hospital Moodbidri offering packages at a discounted price from October 7 to December 4, 2021.
Sharath Virechana which is a seasonal cleansing therapy aids in disease prevention, rejuvenation and also helps to reduce health issues like menstrual disorders, obesity, acne, hyperacidity, skin diseases, burning sensation in hands and feet, frequent mouth ulcers, premature greying of hair, bowel disturbances, appetite issues etc diseases which involve Pitta.
The packages provided in the camp would include treatment charges, medicine charges, admission charges and consultation charges.
