As a tradition of Tulu Nadu, PG Studies Department of Panchakarma organised Aati Chikitsa Camp at Alvas Ayurveda Medical College, Moodbidri from 17-07-2023 to 17-08-2023 for which the inaugural function was held on 15-07-2023 at 9:00a.m. Dr. Rohini Purohit, Associate Professor from Department of Panchakarma welcomed the gathering and the program was inaugurated by Mr.Vivek Alva, Trustee Alva Education Foundation. Dr.Sajith M, Principal, Dr. Majunath Bhat, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Surekha Pai, MD, Niramaya AYUSH Hospital, Dr Vijaylaxmi Asundi, Professor and HOD Dept of Panchakarma and all faculty members of Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College, PG students & Interns were present during inauguration.
The function was started with a prayer followed by lighting the lamp by chief guest. There was a speech from chief guest who addressed about importance of Aati amavasya and Aati Kashaya and interacted with the faculty members.
Panchakarma treatments which are given during this month for prevention of diseases are given in this Aati Chikitsa Camp at discounted rates.
Dr.Rohini Purohit, Dept of Panchakarma delivered Vote of thanks, followed by which Aati drink was distributed to the faculty members.
