As a part of ‘Aati Amavasya 2023’, Aati Kashaya Distribution Programme was conducted by Dept. of Dravyaguna Vijnana, AAMC, Moodbidri. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp by Vidvaan Chandrashekar Gaalimane, in the presence of Principal Dr. Sajith M., Medical Superintendent Dr. Manjunath Bhat, P.G. Dean Dr. Raviprasad Hegde, and Dr. Susheel Shetty. Welcome address was proposed by Dr. Subrahmanya Padyana, H.O.D. dept. of Dravyaguna Vijnana. Dr. Sriwidya Bharati was emcee for the programme and vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Lakshmi Pai. The Aati Kashaya (prepared from the bark of Alstonia Scholaris tree) was distributed to students, staffs and more than 3000 public people. The programme was successfully conducted preserving the age-old tradition and providing security from varied ailments.
