AYUSH HABBA – 31.01.2026 & 01.02.2026
Students and staffs of Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College actively participated in AYUSH Habba 2026 which was organized as a two-day program on 31st January and 1st February 2026 with the objective of promoting awareness, academic exchange, and cultural integration of AYUSH systems of medicine. Public Awareness Talk was given by Dr. Raviprasad Hegde, Professor and HOD, Dept. of Manasa Roga on the topic ‘Solution for Depression’. Dr.Geetha Markandhe, Professor, Dept. of Roga Nidana gave a talk on the topic ‘Geriatric Health’. The event featured a series of scientific lectures and interactive sessions by eminent experts from academia, research, industry, and innovation sectors, highlighting advancements, career opportunities, and integrative perspectives in Ayurveda and allied AYUSH disciplines. The program also included a cultural evening (Sanskritika Sambhrama) by students of Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College, providing a vibrant platform to showcase traditional art forms and cultural heritage, thereby enriching the holistic spirit of the event. The well-structured schedule, distinguished speakers, and enthusiastic participation of faculty, students, and stakeholders contributed to the grand success of AYUSH Habba 2026, making it a meaningful academic and cultural celebration aligned with the vision of holistic health and traditional knowledge systems.
