A one-day awareness programme was organized by the Department of Dravyaguna,
and Alva’s Traditional Medicine Archive & Research Centre, a wing of Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College; in association with Intermediary Pharmacovigilance Centre for Ayurveda, ITRA, Jamnagar on 19.2.2021 regarding Pharmacovigilance for ASU & H drugs. The programme was presided over by Dr Rabinarayan Acharya, Coordinator, Intermediary Pharmacovigilance Centre, ITRA, Jamnagar.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr Subrahmanya Padyana, Director of ATMA & RC, Professor and HOD Department of Dravyaguna. The inaugural address was given by Dr Sajith Mangalassery, Principal, AAMC, Moodbidri.
Then the lecture was delivered by Dr Rabinarayan Acharya, who highlighted the importance of knowledge of pharmacovigilance and its updates.
After the session, as a token of respect and gratitude, a memento was handed over to Dr Rabinarayan Acharya by Principal Dr Sajith Mangalassery.
The fruitful session ended with a vote of thanks by Dr Anjali Kumari, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Dravyaguna.
