Dhanwantari Jayanti Celebration

Dhanwantari Jayanti was celebrated with full fervor at Alvas Ayurveda Medical College, Moodubidire on 2nd December 2021. Bhajan session was followed by Dhanwantari Pooja and Arati.

Later on, a formal event was organized at V.S.Acharya Auditorium The gathering was welcomed by Principal, Dr. Sajith M. The Chief Guest of the event Smithakrishna Das ji, ISKON, Kudupukatte; gave a motivational and spiritual speech, uplifting the significance of the science of Ayurveda. The presidential speech was delivered by Mr. Vivek Alva, Member of Trustee, Alvas Education Foundation, Moodubidire. Felicitation was done to Smithakrishna Das ji with honor and gratitude. It was followed by a session of prize distribution to the winners of various competitions held on account of Dhanwantari Jayanti. The overall championship was bagged by the students of 3rd year B.A.M.S. The function was concluded with a ‘vote of thanks’ by P.G Dean, Dr. Raviprasad Hegde. The event was executed by Mr. Rohan Fernandes, Associate Professor, Dept. of Dravyaguna.
