One day Study tour has been arranged for Second year UG students, PG Scholar of Dravyaguna and Rasashastra departments of Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College on 15-11-2021, Monday to ALN Rao Memorial Ayurveda Medical College, Koppa, Kamandalatheertha and Shringeri. They are accompanied by staffs of Dravyaguna ( Dr. Subrahmanya Padyana and Dr. Anjali Kumari M U) and Rasashastra ( Dr. Krishnamurthy, Dr. Nayana Pai, Dr. Tarika Bangera, Dr. Sowmya KR)
Sri Aroor Ramesh Rao, President of ALN Rao Ayurveda Medical College, Koppa was felicitated on behalf of Alvas Ayurveda Medical College, Moodbidri. President Sri Aroor Ramesh Rao and Principal Dr. Sanjay KS, ALN Rao Memorial Ayurveda Medical College Koppa, honored Dr. Subrahmanya Padyana and Dr. Krishnamurthy, alumni’s of the college.
Botanical Garden, Dravyaguna museum, Pharmacy, Quality control lab was shown to our students by Dr. Sanjay KS, Dr. Beerayya Irayya Matapathi, Dr. Prashanth Jha, Dr. Rajatha and Dr. Keerthana. At the Botanical Garden, some of the rare plants like Devadaru, Vidanga, Manjista, Asthishrunkala, Aswagandha etc were witnessed by students.
At Kamandalatheertha, Dr Ramesh P V , Director Partha Ayurveda Ashram, Koppa, has guided us. Around 100 species like Lobelia nicotianaefolia ( Heddumbe), Senna hirsuta, Krishna Jeeraka, coffee plant, etc were seen by students.
