Department of Swastha Vritta of Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College organized Educational Visit on 10.12.2021 for the students of 3 rd year B.A.M.S & Swasthavritta PG scholars at Karnataka Milk Federation, Mangaluru to understand the hygiene maintained during the processing and preservation of various milk and milk products at a factory level. At 9.15 am 64 3rd year B.A.M.S students and 7 Swasthavritta PG scholars accompanied by the lecturers of Swasthavritta department from Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College Vidyagiri Campus departed for Karnataka Milk Federation, Kulshekhar, Mangaluru in two buses arranged by the college. After arriving at the KMF plant around 10: 30 a.m. students were divided into 2 batches. The whole team was welcomed by the employee of KMF who gave the basic idea of working of KMF and showed all different sections of the KMF plant. The whole team was provided with Nandini sweet lassi. After the group capture, the whole team returned back at 2 pm.
