Alva’s Niraamaya Multi Speciality Ayush Hospital, unit of Alva’s Education Foundation, conducted a Free Medical Camp at St. Joseph’s Church, Kuthlur, as a part of creating awareness about Karkitaka Chikitsa Camp ( July 17 2023- August 16 2023).
Fr. Mathew , welcomed the gathering. Dr. Surekha Pai, Medical Director of Alva’s Niraamaya, elucidated the services rendered by Alva’s Niraamaya. The significance of Karkitaka Chikitsa in promoting health was explained by Dr. Sharanya, RMO, Alva’s Niraamaya. Paediatric specialist , Dr Sudha BAMS, MD created awareness about Swarna Sanjeevani Camp, conducted every month, to the gathering. Representing Dept. Of Prasuti tantra and streeroga, Dr. Veena R, emphasized and explained about improving woman health through Ayurveda. Dr Nikel Kumari, BAMS, MD, consultant and Assistant Professor Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College graced the occasion. PGs and interns joined the camp.
