The Department of Ayurveda Samhita & Siddhanta, Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Moodubidire, successfully celebrated Charaka Jayanthi and National Samskrita Day on 9th August 2025 at the PG Seminar Hall. The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Sathyanarayan Bhat, followed by the introduction of the resource person by Dr. Manjula K. The academic session featured an enlightening talk on “Understanding the Diction in Samhitas” by the esteemed resource person Dr. Shrikanth P.H., Professor and Head, Dept. of Ayurveda Samhita & Siddhanta, Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College, Mangalore. The event was further enriched by Vachana-Pravachana by Dr. Krishnamurthy M.S. and Dr. Subramanya Padyana, which highlighted the depth and relevance of Samskrita and Samhita traditions in Ayurveda. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Soumya S.M., making the celebration academically inspiring and culturally meaningful for all participants.
