A free medical camp with health check-up was conducted at Kuthlur on 09.07.2023. Four specialized doctors, Dr. Surekha Pai, Professor, Dr. Nikel Kumari, Asst. Professor, Dr. Sudha, Asst. Professor, Dr. Veena, Asst. Professor, 1 Resident Medical officer, 2 PG scholars and 10 internship students volunteered the camp. Inauguration of the camp was done at 10 am by lighting lamp. Dr. Surekha Pai, Professor, Dept of Kayachikitsa delivered an awareness talk regarding the camp and Karkataka chikitsa on this occasion. Awareness regarding the Swarna Sanjeevani camp and women health through Ayurveda was given by Dr. Sudha and Dr. Veena respectively. The camp aimed to provide free medical services to rural community with varieties of medicine and services. After doing the primary checkups, the patients were sent to the specialized doctors for the treatment. Appropriate treatment was given to cure their health issues. The patients were served appropriately and camp was successful with around 35 patients attending the camp.
